SCIENCE WEEK

   The theme of science week now is biotechnology. Monday, we are (Level 9) has studied English with Mrs. Tish and Mr. Arfan. And then, we are learning about biotechnology with Mr. Hendra and Mrs. Avni..

    This week we wont do experiment about fermented, so Mrs. Avni told much about fermented and how to do it. I’ll make yoghurt and my friends will make oncom, tape, tempe, nata de coco, and cheese for next Wednesday.

    On Tuesday, me and my friends make planning about the experiments for next day. All the times, we browsing about the experiments and reading the result. From my result, I need the fresh milk, lactobasillus and thermopollus bacterial, pan, stove, spoon, thermometer, refrigerator, and etc for make yoghurt.

     After school, i search the materials for my experiment, but i didn’t find the fresh milk and the bacterial. I hear for get the fresh milk and the bacterial, i must go to Bogor and is too far.     

    Wednesday. We are do experiments today. But my materials and tools is not complete. Mrs. Avni said, maybe the UI (Indonesia University) want to sold the bacterial, but when Mrs. Uning telephoned, they are said they are didn’t sold the bacteria.

   So, my experiments is failed. And then I help Icha for make tapai. Icha went to market and I help her to peel the cassavas. Ilham help me too, because hard to peel the cassava. After peel the cassavas, i wash and let the cassavas on water.

       On Thursday, we are (level 9) make the presentations. Because my experiment is failed, I didn’t bring analysis and conclusion on my presentation, i just bring about yoghurt, procedure for make yoghurt, and ‘what is fermented’ on my presentation.  

    Friday, is time for talk about presentation. My friends bring they result of experiment, Fathi bring his tempe and Icha bring her tapai. And I help Icha for eat the tapai. Hahaha (laughing)
